Reporting to the Deputy Head of College, this role provides College-wide leadership for teaching and learning across P–12, setting strategic direction for curriculum, pedagogy, assessment, staff capability, innovation and educational technology. Key Responsibilities

As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will:

  • Lead and implement a clear, research-informed Teaching and Learning strategy aligned to the College’s strategic intent
  • Drive consistently high-quality teaching practice through clear expectations, coaching, moderation and professional learning
  • Ensure a rigorous, coherent and well-sequenced P–12 curriculum across all pathways (Australian Curriculum, IB PYP/DP, QCE and VET)
  • Strengthen evidence-informed improvement through the use of learning data, research and classroom evidence to evaluate impact and drive continuous improvement
  • Provide governance, quality assurance and compliance oversight, including QCAA and relevant accreditation requirements
  • Provide strategic leadership of eLearning and educational technology, partnering with IT to ensure safe, reliable, education-led implementation
  • Lead and line-manage key portfolios including Curriculum Leaders, Exceptional Learners, IB Diploma Programme, Library Services, Careers, VET, eLearning, and support staff

Essential requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in Education (postgraduate qualifications in leadership/curriculum desirable)
  • Current registration (or eligibility) with the Queensland College of Teachers (QCT)
